Anthony (Tony) Coombes is a Senior Safety Consultant of Safety Resources Australia (SRA). Tony has over 5 years experience working in the Occupational Health and Safety across the Mining and Heavy Industry throughout Western Australia and Australia.
Tony has extensive experience in Catastrophic Risk Critical Control management. He reviews the critical controls detailed on Catastrophic Risk Bowties and then breaks the control down into different steps in order to check that the whole organisation is supporting that particular critical control. Where they are not in place, action plans complete with who is responsible and target dates are prepared for sign off by responsible persons.
Tony has a very practical background starting as a furnace operator all the way up to Smelter Production Superintendent before moving in his OHS work career. Tony holds qualifications including:
